Yeah - I feel the same way. He's a fringe player who can be a playmaker at times. That WFT released him, and he's not played for the Texans says something. Playing a few years in the NFL isn't too bad.....

They picked him up for a reason and will get his chance. My thinking is that he still may have had a minor injury that was making him less effective. Lets see what happens for remainder of the season.

Jimmy Moreland has played a total of 18 snaps for the Texans this season, including 4 yesterday, all on special teams.

Seems like this has been a total bust year for Dukes in the NFL. Guys like Carter and DiNucci haven’t sniffed an opportunity at the active roster. Wonder if Carter wishes he stayed in Dallas? Moreland had that weird waiving, claiming by Houston and then being buried on the roster of a bad team. Stinnie hurt, Brown bouncing around, hoping these guys all get a chance quickly, because the off-season will bring another draft class of possibilities and push them further down the list of options.

Dean Marlowe has been getting a lot of playing time in Detroit. Now, they are basically a triple A football team, but as a Lions fan, he gives me a reason to watch.

Ron’Dell was on Arizona’s practice squad, not exactly a free agent. Congrats to him, I was waiting for this finally happen, hope they use him better than Jimmy M.

If they are still evaluating him after 6 NFL seasons, with the past 3 in their organization it says a lot about their franchise.

somewhat. What you see at practice does not always translate to game day. Sometimes it's a pleasant surprise, sometimes a disappointment (& sometimes exactly what you expected). He has not had a lot of game day snaps besides special teams. Especially in the last couple of years.

Not knocking him here, but how much better can they realistically think he is going to get? DB has to be pushing 30 at this point, kind of amazing he's still floating around right now to be honest.
