Seton Hall put up 85 at x to win by 17. x’s defense is not D1 level. But, they did beat us.

Mason is out of his boot and will likely be in the rotation soon. No word on Gabe...but it would be kind of shocking for one to leave and not both unless there is something really rough going on.

And Georgia got crushed at home by Miss. St.

Yeah GA is not very good. They were 7-0 before today but were ranked behind UC in Kenpom for a reason.

It just all points to UC being also not very good...maybe even bad.

Really wish we would've caught the SEC refs on an off night...that Tennessee game would've been a very nice little feather in our otherwise bassist from Village People level headress

WVU was getting blown out by OK St., down 19 with 11 minutes left. Now up 4 with 2:30 remaining. Wild.

WV by 3. Huggins is one of the top 10 coaches in the NCAA, and has been for 30 years. Amazing.

Still amazing that from 1992 to 2002 his UC teams won the conference tournament or the regular season championship. In a lot years it was both. That period included 1 Final Four, 2 Elite Eights, and 1 Sweet 16.

The man could coach and still can.

That team of his just 2 years ago was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen from a HOFer. Just awful. He’s proven he can blow it up and rebuild it. They are really, really good this year.

He still has a nose for talent and development. I imagine Mick honed a lot of his skills in that regard working under Huggy. Looking at 247, he's only had 2 top-50 guys at WVU. But he gets a lot out of his 3-star prospects. Still does well in Ohio too.

Anyway, we have a couple tough roadies at SMU and Wichita State coming up. I believe we are good enough to win either game if shots start dropping, which we've been waiting for all season. But we might be staring at 2-8 here soon. Yikes. I've said it before, and I'll say it again (although maybe I'm naive) -- there's no way we're THIS bad. Surely the lid will come off the basket eventually... right? Right? 03-banghead

Man, Michigan is really good on both ends of the court. They are just bludgeoning Wisconsin.

What did that run get to? 44-6 or something?

Imagine scoring the last 13 points of the first half and the first 12 points of the second half against the #9 team in the country.

Something like that. They were up by 40 points with 12 minutes left. Complete domination.

Time for UC to schedule an MTE or a non-conference home gamer. Looks like they have a lot of time off coming up

RE: 2020-2021 College Basketball Season Thread

I grew up with Michigan winning a basketball championship and the Fab 5...into the 90s friends up here in Toledo had Cincinnati Jordan brand gear on and I started watching the Bearcats and rooting for them. Crazy now thinking that I grew up cheering for Michigan as the football school and Cincinnati as the basketball school.

Beilien made me enjoy Michigan basketball again, but Michigan football is hard to watch right now while I love watching UC Football...bizarro world right now.
