I wonder how this works with school, the USFL season starts in April, and I can't imagine they pay enough to have someone drop out of college early.

Seems like Caylin isn't there because he's doing his thing with Cam, but there's 22 teams at WM, one of the biggest we've ever had.

Colby, Tye, and Lachlan are obviously there, I wonder who else is working out, or if any other colleges sent some players. I think in the past some of the Tidewater schools that don't do their own pro day will send players to ours.

Ended up with 23 teams in attendance. In addition to Sorsdal, Pitts and Freeland, former Tribe WR Cole Blackman also worked out. Sorsdal weighed in at 316 and Pitts at 263. Both measured 6'5 1/2". Photos below.

I'm not really sure what 23+ means, I guess maybe 23 NFL teams and then some 3rd party scouts, or USFL/XFL people.

A lot of success as a safety comes from instinct and toughness. Tye has both. It would be great to see him get picked up somewhere.

Tye, Colby, and Lachlan should all end up being brought in for NFL tryouts at a minimum.

Agreed. Someone even ranks Colby as 2nd best FCS tackle behind Cody Mauch of NDS. This is an extremely deep TE class, but Lachland should get a good look. Wondering what their numbers were yesterday.

I believe both Brent Caprio & Tyler Claytor are still area scouts for the Washington Commanders. Not sure if either was in attendance or if you are allowed to scout your alma mater. I'd imagine some bias in scouting evaluations.

A lot of scouting is having access to people inside the program. I would expect that would be a good thing for the Commanders and the Tribe.
