Long Eligiblity
So why are all the other transfers from other teams allowed to play and he is not ? Yesterday Maryland had 5 transfers and all were eligible. Looks like ODU got screwed again. I don't get it.

This is standard. It seems almost automatic that our requests are not granted.

RE: Long Eligiblity
We’re not alone in this. The NCAA should be approving all transfer waivers since this season doesn’t count towards eligibility.

Great. Lets hope he can shoot. Should be a help filling the void created by the Wade injury at least.

Don't we already know the answer to that question?

Monarch shooting percentages:

Trice: 61%

Hunter:33%
LONG: 33%

Wade shot 56% last season.

Clear evidence that when a team shoots closer to the basket with size they make more of their shots (and get fouled more).

That brings up a great point since 3 point shooters will have lower field goal percentages. True Shooting Percentage leaders:

ALFIS!- .625
Trice- .613
Reece- .600
Ezikpe- .597
Oliver- .597
Curry- .521

Maybe he needs glasses. There are many times he doesn't even hit the rim. He used to be money on those curls when he would shoot from around the foul line. Misses most of those now.

Seriously, I think he needs a sports psychologist more than glasses. The football team used to have one. I think the basketball coaches should consider it.
