State 9 point underdog. I think they will play better today, but I believe Austin Peay is a better team than Abilene.

After the debacle of yesterday we are lucky it is just 9. But the talent is there. The coaches just have to get them to play together and be a team. I have my fingers crossed for today.

RE: Official Game Thread: Austin Peay
Austin Peay was picked to win the OVC in preseason polls and have arguably the best player in the conference in Terry Taylor.

Barring some overnight miracle changes in how this team plays, this will probably be another long afternoon.

Quit fronting the post! It's not working on Taylor. This could be a HUGE win for us! Come on BUCS!

Tough loss, but that was a much better performance. Taylor is one of a kind at the mid-major level.

I guess those overnight miracle changes happened, but we couldn’t get the last stop and board. Missing free throws killed us. Disappointing but we were way, way better today.

Very, very encouraging level of play today. 65% free throws would have won the game. Hope we keep improving. Go Buxs.

Encouraging. Was worried about another blowout. Anyone know what time the game is tomorrow?

Very proud of this team. To bounce back from a terrible loss and play with confidence and teamwork. The bench was a cheerleading squad. We look like bonds are being made. We have a lot of good players and coach is mixing them up well...Go Bucs

Agreed, very encouraged to see the change and progression. After the first game that's all you can hope for. One game at a time, very promising!
