RE: Really nice win....
Andric played really well today and has a ton of potential. He took care of the ball and got 9 points of his playing time. Toumi didn’t play much but played pretty good in his short time.

Defense played well for most of the game and our offense was more protective of the ball in the second half. Bigs played great and Nowell played better today. Not perfect shooting wise but he moved the ball around more and got the other guys involved.

I agree completely! This was a good win against a very good team. We are 2-1 and some of the guys haven’t played close to their potential yet. I was excited to see Stulic play well and Andic and Toume both looked very good for true freshmen. It’s going to be a strange but fun year!

A really nice win today against a quality opponent! Duquesne is picked somewhere around 6th in the A10, but not being picked ahead of Richmond, St. Louis, Dayton, VCU, and Davidson is nothing to be ashamed of. The entire top half of the A10 is really solid. And I agree that Little Rock hasn’t played its best yet, as most teams haven’t so far with no scrimmages and/or exhibition games to get the kinks out!

A real statement opportunity is available on Friday against WKU, and I hope the Winthrop game gets done on Wednesday.

More like it. Defense was good. Plus 5 on the boards. Still way too many turnovers, but at least we had a lot of assists to go with them. Another double double for Ruot. Maric is shooting lights out this year. Two assists against no turnovers for Andric. Hope he keeps that up.

We just lost our opportunity against our old rival WKU on Friday. I am really disappointed about that as it would have been a great game for old times sake! But we still have the game tomorrow against Winthrop and a chance for a quality win!

I'm disappointed too.

Haven't heard why the game was cancelled. Did Little Rock have a positive? I haven't heard of anybody testing positive on our team.

RE: Really nice win....
Prairie View had a positive case of covid on their team and it caused them to leave the bubble before they could play WKU. So that event somehow cancelled our game with WKU. I don’t know any other specifics but it wasn’t our faults that our game against our old friends got cancelled. Maybe next year though!

I just think the scheduling didn’t work out great for either team. I don’t think we particularly wanted to play 3 games in 4 days with a long bus trip in the middle. Could see us adding a game along the way.
