memphis is a top 25 team

imo they are 1 playmaker (great passer) away from being top 5..a run the offense, great ball handler type..a kendric davis/dejon jarreau type player

lester is an elite shooter but not great at creating his own shot , cisse is elite size and athleticism but not good at creating his own shot..and dj jeffries and nolley are mismatch nightmares but arent great ball handlers

right now its a create your own offense system limiting the offense some of the players

both... wku is extremely good on offense..keeping ku in check on D especially how they looked last year
but memphis is really off on offense

Penny has to stop it with the Lomax focus if Baugh is gonna be better than last year at ball control. Honestly not sure what Lomax gives in a top-7 rotation spot

Western Kentucky is good. Bassey is a pro, the teams solid and well coached. They'd contend in our league. 07-coffee3

It will be hard for Memphis when they face elite teams since Cisse doesn’t look like he can buy a basket. Good defender but they won’t have any gimme buckets without him. I’m sure he will improve though

Memphis reminds me of the Zion Duke team a bit. A lot of talent but they mostly play individually. If they had better ball movement it would improve their offense significantly

Memphis still aint there yet offensively. Think Houston takes the league going away.

Only elite PG talent offensively is Boogie but he isnt a playmaker yet. Baugh has vision but makes awful decisions and Lomax just aint a starter on a top 25 team.

its early in the season, lots of time to figure things out..

las year to start the year there was a roast session on houston for losing to byu on buzzer beater and playing rice close (by everyone here)... we ended up comfortably the best team

memphis' issue is that they play no team offense, the potential is there to develop that ..

too much i have to score myself right now with memphis.. i dont think ive seen i designed play all game

Someone needs to explain to Jeffries that if you chose to get into the body of a shot blocker, especially on a straight line drive, you have to use the correct hand, the one away from the defender.

Memphis just needs to settle down. They are trying to be spectacular and they just need to be good, together

Jeffries needs to be benched for the rest of the game to be honest. Everything he has done has been awful. Like not a single good play on offense OR defense bad

Ok, someone explain to Jeffries that he needs to get his defender going lateral, preferably twice in a mismatch. He is being far to predictable, he expected to beat the big on pure speed and to just overwhelm the last defender on that offensive foul.

Memphis way to shellfish and in hero ball mode. Holley made a nice play earlier, he makes a couple more like that and the offensive flow will improve in a hurry.

Wow Cisse showing high basketball IQ. That tall to tall from high post or out to the block will be open all day, it keeps Bassey from being able to camp and block.

All that talent but not a single answer for Bassey?

What was the line on this game?
