Houston... For the good of the conference ...please let off the gas and Let Tulsa get within 10. We don't need them dropping out of the Top 75

A team that has lost Fabian White, Nate Hinton, and Caleb Mills. And still running through the conference. I mean, what can you say about Kevin Sampson at this point?

Sampson playing a lot of the bench now, so lead may suffer from it, but giving good playing time to bench.

Roberts is gonna be a force down low. I love how loose he plays.

Also why the heck can't Tyson buy a 3? All Coach P talks about with him is his 45% at Idaho.

That's why he's playing. CKS wants to get him used to playing again and get into his groove. He should get it soon as long as he keeps getting some playing time.

Air is thinner in Idaho, average elevation of 5,000 feet. Changes the way the ball travels.

In Texas we have heavy balls is what you're saying.

Where would those three players fit on the depth chart if they were still at UH? Wonder what Houston's ceiling would have been nationally with them seeing as they are 8 as is.

Does it really matter? We're good enough to beat anyone in the country as is. I think if anything the departures have made us better.

Nate would have been preseason AAC POY had he not left last minute .. would have been the team captain

Mills was preseason AAC POY, would have likely been doing 25mins a game

Fabian, Sampson (before the injury) called fabian our best big for what would have been 3 seasons now, was a starter and a lock for 25min+...

our cieling i dont think changes much becuase we are still dominating everyone...but i think it changes the wording slightly from "expected" to be a final 4 team...to "potential" to be a final 4 team

I don't think he believed it. Just a weak troll move. I mean they barely won by one point at home.

Agree with pretty much all the points above. I'm not sure the ceiling changes much, as it would have been Final Four capable with those guys, and it's Final Four capable now.

I think the "expectation" increases more with those guys obviously. I think the below rotation, to me anyway, is the strongest candidate for the #3 team in the country behind Gonzaga and Baylor. But, alas, we will never know.

Jarreau
Grimes
Hinton
White
Gresham

Sasser
Mills
Mark
Gorham
Roberts
Shead
Tyson
Powell

Kelvin Sampson today hinted that Fabian White could very possibly be ready before the big Touney. He said it is just a matter of the doctors and his parents to agree when to let him play. He is already doing 2 on 2 drills. Sampson said he looks great. Fabian is one of the most consistent players and more vocal leaders of this team. Huge news for Houston.
