How do you blow a 20 point lead in 1 half lol

Wow I was listening during the 2nd half but didn't realize it was that big with so little time left.

30% FG pct advantage in 1st half, 30% FG pct deficit in second half, outshot at 3 => ugly loss.

Only one point last 3:45 in the game, outscored 29-7 last 8:47.

1-24!

Monty did not bring in any scoring guard so this is what the season will look like. They only gave up 65 pts. at home and still lost. This team likely will not have 10 wins. Hankerson was very disappointing in the second half and Matteen was horrible.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue

We need to be patient. Monty needs more time to build a winning team. Give him another two years, and we’ll be fine!

Freethrows actually not too bad ... 12-17 for 70.6%. This one lost by only making two FGs last 8:47 and UIC getting hot.

Extremely disgusted. Just seems like NIU is swimming upstream in everything lately. Enrollment, sports, the town seems to have seen better days, etc. Makes me sad. I need a break from it all. I look forward to a game to watch (or listen to) and just have continued to be let down. I’m out for a bit

Monty is bad at recruiting and coaching. Blind squirrel bumped into an acorn (German) a few years ago. Other than that....

I just remember listening to us missing the front end of 1 and 1 so I thought the free throw shooting was worse. My mistake on calling out the free throws. I should of looked up the stats before posting.

How can NIU be outscored by 24 points in the second half? I thought MM strength was being a defensive coach. Many of us have seen this collapse at the end of games in the last eight years. NIU has never been a very smart team. This is going to be a very long year.

Monty and STF are buddies. Monty will have his job as long as STF is AD. Performance does not matter.
