Brevin Galloway one of Charleston’s best players (Senior guard) is out for the season with an injury.

Tuesday will be a day of truth for the CAA. In addition to JMU vs VCU, Hofstra plays at Richmond, W&M at UVA, and Northeastern at Georgia.

Lots of big games where the league can earn back some respect or be relegated to low major status this year. The OOC is quickly winding down with zero impressive wins so far.

Day of truth, or day of reality? 03-lmfao

This is not the CAA of 15 years ago, and never will be.

GMU down 30-15 to VMI in first half. While a home game for Mason, that really does not matter much these days.

GMU has come back and is heading towards a win.

Interesting GMU is advertising tickets available to the public for the next couple games. I know it's during the holidays, but figure with only limited tickets they would be eaten up by season ticket holders.

Morgan State crushed Delaware tonight.

GA State annihilated Charleston

This could be the worst CAA in three decades. So sad to see JMU a central part of this misery.

Only if we’re again mired in mediocrity in a sub-mediocre conference.

Remains hard to believe the substantive steps we’ve taken backwards in the last 30 years.

Simply mind boggling the ineptitude.

Holding out hope for some kind of turn around with the new crowd, seems we’ll get a good look at that this afternoon.

And May God have sweet mercy on their souls...

Delaware lost to Morgan State yesterday. Big rebound win for Morgan State after their loss to West Virginia... Tech. WV Tech. They play in Alice Lloyd's conference (NAIA D1). So Delaware lost to a team that lost to a team at Alice Lloyd's level.

Perhaps we should consider changes conferences.

I think I'll start a new thread on this! 03-idea

Crushed = 6 point win in a game where neither team led by double digits at any point. CoC lost their best player to an ACL tear and couldn't shoot to save their lives last night (35% FG) while Ga State couldn't miss (58% FG). To be fair, at least annihilated could work there?

Northeastern lost to ODU, 62-66. NU came back down 13 in 2nd half, to tie it with 3 min to go.

We never seem to get visiting fans coming over to say their team lost. They must just always win.

RE: OT - other CAA OOC Basketball games
Best win of the OOC by far. Hopefully some teams pick up a few cancelled games between Christmas and new Year’s to get additional shots at good teams.
JMU needs at least one more OOC challenge, but have nothing on the agenda according to coach By

As a conference, the CAA is 5-5 vs the A10 so far this year.

Northeastern was leading Georgia (aka Cesspool) 45-32 at Georgia. The Dwags (sic) outscored the Huskies 44-13 in the 2nd half to win by 18 points, 76-58. 44-13...whoa! Talk about a collapse after up by 13 at the break. Sheesh.

Well - that really does not provide enough info for an evaluation.

But not worth digging.

So easy - at least it seems like it to me.

In Football or Basketball set up a conference challenge between the MVC and CAA. TV does not have to be a major part, but just have during a 2 - 4 day time frame each team play someone from the other conference. It will be fun.

In basketball we could do it with the A10, CUSA, or A10. Let's do it and have some fun. I don't care if it's picked up by a major cable network. Let's just start a little conference rivalry.

I have no idea what our conference office does. Do something to market the league.
