UCA is looking. We were in a MTE with them, Jackson State, and Ole Miss and it got cancelled. We're trying to figure out a way to play the two teams somewhere in there.

Just a technical question: Is it legal to add games after the season has begun?

I don’t believe there are any prohibitions against it, so long as a team remains within the legally allotted number of games.

Yes. We added a game with Morehead State tomorrow within the last couple hours.

You can Add and cancel games however you want, provided you don't go over your limit. In practice you don't see it in a normal season because teams schedule so far in advance. However with games certain to be cancelled this year, there's more freedom on the scheduling front.

RE: If you guys are still looking for games
Our women added a game against Memphis for this Tuesday. It's already a crazy season and hard to imagine it won't get crazier. It will be interesting to see if college athletes get moved ahead in the vaccine line. Probably not, but it wouldn't surprise me if the money in pro sports moves them up the line. It would raise a "stink", but realistically it would only involve a few hundred shots to get all the NBA players vaccinated. Guaranteed NBA games brings enjoyment to millions of fans, as well as millions of dollars to major metro areas that are really suffering right now. I guess you could say the same thing about the NHL, NFL (only playoff teams would be relevant by the time the vaccine gets distributed), and MLB.

Don't want to get to far off track, but what will happen with vaccine distribution does worry me. Folks with certain underlying conditions will be near the front of the line. But, what upper class person doesn't "know" a doctor, or 2, who could write them a "note" if that is what's needed. Just don't want to see poor folks, who had no option to work at home like most people I know did, get screwed.

I work for a clinic that deals with almost entirely immune compromised patients. Our staff is of course due to get the vaccine first, and there's been conversations about not even advertising on Social media that we're getting our shots out of fear that someone might try and break in and take our supply.

Crazy times ahead. Some will lie or steal to get the shot while plenty will refuse to take it. I will certainly take it, but still not sure I would want to be first in line.

RE: If you guys are still looking for games
I thought we might be able to add a game with Memphis, but I saw they already added a game with UCA for tomorrow night.

Ole Miss can add a game, but not sure when they could fit it in other than early next week.

Not sure what other teams, that are close by, have room to add a game. Missouri State? LaTech? SEMO? UAPB?

I wish we could play Tulsa or North Texas too but their schedules look already set unless they have cancellations. Stephen F. Austin would be a fun matchup we have yet to have in some time.
