Looks like Hansen got benched for CJ brown. I was expecting that...just too many missed tackles and mistakes.

Eddie Jackson is starting the 1st half for Pugh.

We list a Fullback for once

Fletcher is the back up QB

4 Fr safeties, 3 Fr defensive ends and 2 Fr linebackers, God have mercy on them.

Regarding CJ Brown I had him circled coming in as a player to watch. He comes from a big time program and I think he knows how to play. Hope he the physicality to play. Hansen right now is not ready to make tackles, appears to play the ball well though.

Before Pugh returns in the second half, defensive starters will include 6 true freshmen, 1 redshirt freshman, 2 true sophomores, 1 junior and 1 senior. So six first year guys and three second year guys. And incredibly, defense is the least of our problems.

Nice to see Rayshawn Gay make the two deep, he's been waiting a long time.

Really, really hope to see Fletcher get some work if the game gets out of hand, which it likely will. Nothing against Bowers who's a warrior.

Agree about CJ Brown, and when he has been in I thought he has played well.

Maybe Jennings, Wright or Hogans will get a shot some time? As young as we play at D-end it’s hard to believe 1 of those guys can’t play a little bit.

Hard to crack the end rotation. I like the top 4. Same thing at DT. The defense is fine. The offense however...

Hansen was scared to tackle and was looked freshman thin compared to bsu but I like his ball skills. When he gets bigger he should be good.

+1 on your second paragraph. Wouldn't change a word.

Pre-covid Hammock mentioned that CJ Brown was someone to watch. Looking forward to it.

Off topic a bit & apologize if I missed it- but what happened to Connor Neville? Change of heart & it just did not work out?

Hogans and Wright have missed the last 2 games. They may be injured. Jennings has played in all 3 games. Hammock does not reveal injuries.

RE: WMU Depth
With a fullback being listed I have to believe that we might have seen just about enough of the 2 TE sets on running plays.

Crawford is a serviceable blocker. We obviously can’t find another. I wonder how Waylee will do with a fullback?

Either way it shakes out the offense is going to look a bit different.
