AM mentioned that Jared Kucharek isnt playing this year but didnt say why, my guess is season ending injury? AM seems encouraged with the freshman and they have played 10 intra-squad games to get ready for the season.

Biggest key to this season is hopefully getting the lines to gel to put the puck in the net.

I'm having trouble getting excited about this year with the crushing disappointment of the cancellation right when we were on the verge last season.... I'm sure I'll come around once we're in the thick of it.

Well, considering we finished 18th in the country last year, were on pace to make the NCAA Tournament, & are sitting in that same spot today, seems low to me. Are we not returning a lot of our players? I know Bussi's back, so that's good.

Rueschhoff & Samuelsson both left early to sign pro contracts, and Lee, Allison, McGing, Bafia, Courtnall, and DiPietro are gone after their completing their senior seasons so the team has lost a ton of firepower. Being picked 5th in the conference is probably accurate given the subtraction of those guys and not knowing how the incoming freshmen will do. Hopefully the team overachieves this year and makes that 5th place prediction look foolish!

Yes, we lost a ton of players. This was known. That's why last year's cancelled season was so frustrating. Lost Mattias, McGing, Allison, DiPietro, Courtnall, Bafia, Bennett, Rueschhoff, Cam Lee, & Blacker.

I wonder if Jared Kucharek opted out of the season because of COVID. Murray is always tight lipped about any injury related matter. But, this seems like the most likely story on why we've heard absolutely nothing.

We are in for a long season boys...

I don't think we'll be flirting with a NCHC championship, but I don't think we'll be at the bottom either. Bussi coming back will be huge and there is still a ton of talent on the team. Time for some new faces to step up.

Goal scorers has been a revolving door the past few seasons. We've done great keeping talent coming in in that department.
