I looked through the ESPN3 and ESPN+ schedule and didn't see them listed. Maybe it isn't up yet?

RE: Opening Week MBB
What are your expectations for these 3 opening games? We know Xavier has a very strong program year in and year out. Bradley qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season so you figure they will be strong again. Oakland had a tough season last year and has been dealing with COVID issues this pre-season with Coach Kampke and several players so not sure about them. With a shorten non conference schedule due to COVID, it will be interesting to see how TK treats these pre league games in preparation for the Conference schedule that includes a December game at EMU.

I would think it more important than ever to find a rotation and beginning meshing this sooner than a normal regular season.

well, it's tough to predict how prepared teams will be, how much work they got done in the offseason and how much new rosters have meshed. i imagine there will be some opportunities for mid majors to win more games than usual against the name programs. that is what happened in college football. specific to us i expect a lineup of edu, millner, rollins, littleson, marreon which should be very solid on defense and maybe better on offense. rollins is more skilled than alderson and an older saunders can still rotate in. edu probably isn't as good offensively as knapke overall at this stage, espcially since luke and marreon had a lot of experience working 2 man games. however, the transition to edu will allow us to play faster and should help our overall defense. some the hopes to be really good will depend on the bench improving. that looks possible with acunzo healthy and several of the new guys getting off to good starts. last year we got stagnant when marreon left the court but this year we've got a few guys (rollins, hill, acunzo) who can slide into a playmaker role for a few minutes and probably keep the offense functional.

as for the first few games, yeah Bradley is a tough opener. they lost a couple good players but bring some back and have a strong overall program. i wouldn't be worried if we lose that game as long as we do some positive things. oakland always has talent but we've had their number in recent years. xavier was a bubble team last year and got some good transfers and should be tourney team this year if they stay healthy. they got a 6-4 senior lead guard scruggs who will be an interesting matchup w littleson? or whoever we put on him. they are pretty big inside and millner and komagum or maranka will need to have good games battling on the inside to help out AJ. shooting was an issue for xavier last year so i'd say keeping on eye on that in their first 2 games should predict how much they are improving.

Looks like the 1st two games will be streamed on something called FloHoops which requires a monthly subscription. Never heard of it, so no thanks.

Agreed, not paying for what's reviewed as a mediocre streaming service at best, for two games.

Thanks for the info from you and others... I actually thought about subscribing just for the two games, (Bradley and Oakland)...

I like Flotrack for stats and meet updates. I assume it’s the same group. Never saw any video, though.

UT athletic site FB version says we play Cincinnati on the 26th. Assume that is an error.

They tweeted that too, along with a graphic that shows Oakland.

Beware Flosports. I selected the monthly to try it out but was billed for annual to the tune of $161! Don't be a fool like me. Trying to contact them but only getting bot answers and their online customer service input would not submit. Looks like this is going to be a disputed charge with CC company.

I just made another thread on this exact thing. DO NOT ORDER THE DISCOUNTED YEARLY RATE AND CANCEL. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WATCH PAY THE $29.99 MONTHLY FEE AND CANCEL AFTER YOU SEE THE GAMES, THE DISCOUNTED YEARLY FEE IS A TRICK AS UTfanBGalum has learned.

Has always been the easiest solution for me. Good luck!

What happened to the ESPN+ feeds for every game?

So FloSports did get back to me and changed the subscription to monthly and provided refund. Watching the game now and stream is good - announcers OK too.
