I had a messed up nightmare that we gave up 78 points to Temple. Then we were disqualified when Coach Freeman ran onto the field and assaulted everyone. I mean everyone. He literally beat up everyone involved in the game, even the TV guys. He was like the Hulk.

I'm encouraged by that comment on two counts. First, it sounds as if they're still planning on actually having the game Saturday. Second, I think our coaching staff will use Russo's return to keep the team extremely focused knowing last week's blowout loss to ECU was the result of a depleted QB room that necessitated using a walk-on. Senior Day; Russo back. The 'Cats will need to be focused. At least for the first fifteen minutes to establish a four score lead.

Yea according to that article, he was able to return to practice yesterday after being in quarantine. If the only reason he wouldn't play is not having adequate preparation then he's definitely playing. They don't have any other options. Take a senior QB with 3 days of prep over someone who doesn't play QB.

The reality for Cincinnati is, if Temple is that banged up we sure as hell don't need any unnecessary injuries from essentially an FCS type scrimmage. Here's hoping the staff has the team go out and dominate the first half. Second half will be given over to the reserves.

Man I was looking forward to being up 49-0 at the half. Our backup QB Bryant and RB Ford could do the 3rd Q and get to 70-0 then our 3rd and 4th string make it 84-0.
