Well, if you mean the "local" SEC teams, then I guess you pull for the SEC teams that are more "local" than UT (based on flight and driving mileage):

And actually Mizzou is closer to Memphis than UTK. That makes 8 out of 14 SEC teams. Which, when you think about it, is pretty insane.

Seriously, since UT has been pretty much a non-entity this century, the UT bandwagon in Memphis has a pretty tiny membership. So...yeah, just let them keep losing.

I see your broader point: we need to be top 25 for program visibility. But this year, not so sure.

Let me put it this way: next year if UT is 2-8 and is playing an opponent that might be barring us from moving up in the AP rankings, then, yes, I would root for UT.
