Good job by Calderon to knock down that throw. Lack of pass rush remains an issue. A better team and QB is going to pick us apart.

Collins has proven to be good when given time in the pocket. A few good throws on this drive.

Evidently.

I love the idea of stretching the defense, but these downfield throws aren’t even close.

And 3 bad throws downfield. I’m OK with that if you come back and throw 10 yards downfield, accurately, underneath the defense, which Collins was doing on that drive until the last set of downs.

Not sure Collins could beat Greg Willig in a 20 yard race. He sees the holes but can’t get to them quick enough.

It has been a long time since a 7 point deficit felt this big.

How bad must USM be to make the Owls look so good? UNT defense is not good, but you wouldn’t know it by watching this game.
