I had to look closely. I seriously thought I was watching a black and white game. I know our turf needs to be replaced soon, hopefully after this year but its nothing like up in Ypsilanti MI. That wasn't bad, it was horrid. The grey is fading into white and the black is fading into grey and it all just seem to be a miss mash of horribleness.

My Dad wast texting me "they need to replace that old turf." lol

That turf color is much more distracting than Boise St. Blue.

Yeah, hurts my eyes.

It certainly got people talking. They met that goal.

It wasn't bad when it was new. Much more tolerable than the Smurf Turf. But now its just nasty looking. The 2 worst fields I think are Central Arkansas's purple and grey alternating colors and Eastern Washington's all red used tampon turf.

I advocate for all fields to be green, a nice, deep, dark, shade of green. No blue Smurf Turf, no E. Washington red turf, no UCA alternating bands of purple turf...just green. Just my not-so-humble opinion.

I remember watching us play EMU at The Factory of Sadness. I'm glad we won, but it was not pleasant on the eyes.

That turf is only six years old!

I kinda like Bose State's blue turf but EMU's grey turf is just nasty-looking. But, of course, that's just me.

clt says Charlotte has green turf, naturally.

The Germans called that color Feldgrau.

It's strange in person too, I went to our game there a couple of years ago. It takes a bit to get adjusted to it.
