Can't wait to see Buffalo and Kent St. face off next week. It will be old school pinball. O/U 80?

So at this point, we should be cheering for Ball to lose. Any other scenarios where we need X team to win their games & Y team to lose their games?

Maybe Buffalo not to make it out of the East?

Yes, a BSU loss would really help. CMU and Toledo need us to lose twice to have any shot (and they still need to play each other). And NIU and EMU are almost mathematically eliminated already.

If we get to the MACC, even if we lost that game, it would still be a nice feather in Lester's cap and would put that Cubit comparison to rest.

Buffalo’s loaded! Between RB Jaret Patterson, RB Kevin Marks, WR Antonio Nunn and QB Kyle Vantrease they can score from anywhere on the field. Can’t see them losing.

Florida, I agree. I can't see Kent St. able to slow down the UB offense much so their only chance will be to outscore them. (Shades of that almost forgotten 66 - 63 WMU - Toledo game of years back).

Patterson is a beast, runs like Jarvion did.

I posted in the betting line thread before I saw this.

80 is a total I would expect for a hypothetical WMU-Kent title game matchup.

We won’t know until early next week, but right but now I would open the Buffalo-Kent total at 69.5. Buffalo probably has the best defense in the league, and while those backs are certainly explosive, UB doesn’t play at a particularly fast pace offensively, and their reliance on the ground game chews up clock.

To see a total of 80, you need all three of explosiveness, pace, and TWO bad defenses.

Kent St. plays fast, tries to get in 100 plays. Unless UB can really shut them down, that point total could get high in a hurry.
