Biden’s proposed gun control plan could hit gun owners with $34 billion in taxes
For this reason alone Biden* / Harris must be neutralized....

“Under the plan, Biden gives "individuals who now possess assault weapons or high-capacity magazines two options: Sell the weapons to the government, or register them under the National Firearms Act."

So, in essence, those gun owners who choose to keep their weapons would be forced to register them with the ATF and pay the $200 tax.”

There are probably a half dozen law suit complaints that have already been drafted and are sitting on a desk waiting for the final revision when the right time comes.

The plan is to make gun ownership and buying ammo so administratively and financially burdensome that it will change behaviors on a large scale that will then be passed down generationally.

These kinds of proposed laws would make millions of otherwise law abiding citizens potential felons on day one.

I own guns. I don't own any "assault weapons" (whatever those are) or high-capacity magazines, and don't intend to acquire any. I live in a subdivision with one way in and out and a major police substation located on that main road. In 17 years here, I don't think I've ever gone in or out as far as the main highway without passing at least one police car. I live in a county that went for Trump 71-27. I wouldn't expect any of that to change, and so I feel relatively safe in my home.

But I would fight this legislation with every fiber in my being. If this passes, particularly if spineless republicans get a majority in the senate and then cave on this, it would be time to stick a fork in the USA.

Without the 2nd Amendment, the rest of the constitution is basically worthless.

And this repeals the 2nd Amendment, how exactly?

Gotta keep these out of the hands of poor people is what I am hearing. Seems about right for Biden. I used to own some, not for home defense, they are just fun to shoot. Unfortunately I lost them all in a boating accident as well.

Because now the right to bear arms is reserved for people with excess money. Switch it around to taxing certain religions. Or press organizations that are taxed extra or handed control over to the government.

So he’s not against guns, doesn’t care if everybody has them, doesn’t see them as a threat to society, but (like Democrats in general), they are another revenue source?

Also, the earlier post is correct. Why does Biden hate poor people? Why doesn’t he want them to enjoy their full constitutional rights?

Because the 2nd Amendment says, "shall not be infringed," and this is clearly an infringement.

And just who will “those trying” be? They think some sheriffs are going to come to someone’s house here in south Mississippi and confiscate their firearms?

Defund the police so that a national SS style police can be put in their place is the plan. Not my opinion. They have told us so. Plans straight out of 40’s Germany, China and Russia. And completely unconstitutional.
