While that went on they took to the streets to burn and riot after a rapist was killed in Kenosha, a drug dealer killed in Louisville and a thief killed in Minneapolis.

Leftists like Tom have a twisted view of the world. They believe it’s OK to kill your unborn child and still pray.

Usually, Dems refer to any mag over 10 rounds. Which is dumb, b/c you can change mags in a few seconds.

Of course, there is no law that requires legislators to understand what they are legislating before they do it.

I was gonna post that earlier. The left is so stupid about guns, well most anything actually, but especially guns. Maybe they didnt realize someone with bad intentions could pre-load multiple 10 round magazines and it takes all of about 5-10 second to swap them out and chamber a new round. One would think common sense would be necessary to legislate "common sense" gun control. Not w/ the fktard libs though

They think that by causing a shooter to change magazines you'll give the victim time to escape or attack the shooter because that's what happens in the movies.

But you are starting to realize what I knew two and a half years ago:

Good point back then, but I'm pretty sure that any gun owner knows the left is full of crap any time they open their mouths about guns, forever and ever.

I wouldn't expect any of that to change, and so I feel relatively safe in my home.

But I would fight this legislation with every fiber in my being. If this passes, particularly if spineless republicans get a majority in the senate and then cave on this, it would be time to stick a fork in the USA.

Without the 2nd Amendment, the rest of the constitution is basically worthless.

And this repeals the 2nd Amendment, how exactly?

Don't be stupid. They won't try to repeal the 2A but rather to so severely limit ones ability to exercise the rights guaranteed by the 2A that it may as well not exist.

Which part of shall not be infringed went over that dim head of yours?

Which part of the constitution being trampled on will impact you enough that you see the deadliness of far left rule?

It’s simple really. Leftist want to limit the second amendment so that patriots can’t exercise it upon them. It really is that simple.

Outside of the specific of what was banned, what is dangerous is how. With an executive order trump added an entire class of devices to the NFA. No legislative oversight. There was no grandfather option, it was destroy the bump stock or turn it in. Possession is illegal, full stop. No compensation for the destruction of your property.

That isn’t a path that any gun owner should want to see happen. What is the next thing they can ban with an EO? My guess is it will be pistol braces for ARs, or rifle caliber pistols with removable magazines in general. Just make them all SBRs with a pen stroke.

You’re ok with throwing out the second amendment because 1. You already have your guns, and 2. You are willing to lie about it and become a felon?

Good plan. Should we take away your right to vote because you already voted?

The only thing that did was hurt a company or two that was making them commercially on a small scale. It was a huge nothing burger done for PR.

Executive fiat of anything that burdens the right substantially won’t survive judicial scrutiny and they know it. Congress passes it and gets it to the president’s desk, most of it will pass muster. So be it.

However, people are not going to register and pay to license individual magazines. That is New Coke level stupid.

I have given this some thought.

Why now?

Drug legalization is slowly moving across the country.

Gun taxation will allow a new black market to arise and prevent our cabals from losing their cashflow.

Good one. You can’t explain your point and have nothing to say.

If you think we are in some imaginary battle of wits and you have to attack me personally because you can’t address the points I’m making it’s a good sign you already lost.

In case you struggle with reading comprehension (nothing wrong with being a little slow) I’m arguing against the Biden gun control plan and for the second amendment because I believe in the entire constitution.

Trumps EO was wrong, violates second amendment. Biden gun control plan wrong, violates second amendment (and won’t get passed as is). Any potential Biden EOs that make more guns NFA items are wrong, they violate the second amendment.

Do you not agree with the second amendment?

For me the bump stocks are a “give them an inch and they take a mile thing” combined with the fact they didn’t compensate people for the property they made them turn in or destroy.

Change the definition of a machine gun with the bump stock legislation and got away with it? Take it a little farther and try changing the definition of a SBR with a pistol brace EO and suddenly 2M people are felons if they don’t pay the stamp.

Going after guns with EOs and policy changes at the ATF grows gun control without sending it through the legislature.

I agree with everything you just said. My only point originally was that automatic weapons in the hands of unlicensed private citizens was already illegal PRE-Trump. That's all. His EO didn't change that one way or the other. Should he have done that? Not in my opinion. Did it really make much difference? Not in my opinion. You're the one arguing that because of this latter stance I hold I'm somehow against the 2nd amendment. If you saw inside my gun safe you'd know better.
