RE: EMU Graduation Rate
As the parent of a student-athlete, I truly appreciate the significance of this news. As football parents, we keep a small flame of hope alive that the NFL might be an opportunity, but realistically acknowledge the small percentage of college players who actually make it to the pros, even less the number who have a successful career. So with the odds working against our sons that way, it's comforting to know they are at an institution that nurtures their minds as much as, if not more than, their bodies.
Alex might only have a small chance to see the NFL, but thanks to EMU, he has a very realistic opportunity to earn a degree that will prepare him well for the rest of his life.

And that is what REALLY matters.

RE: EMU Graduation Rate
Based on the end of the article that included men's XC and T&F as one sport, that makes me believe we had 11 of 14 sports (WLAX would not count for this) improve or match last year's scores... That is AWESOME!
Proud of Eastern!

Very good to hear and awesome to see the culture change that's taken place. Happy these guys are setting themselves up for the future.
Bottom line is.....CC started recruiting character guys who understand nfl goals and lifelong goals. Glad to see we have high character players and families in the program.
