He's been coached and hit out of what makes him a good qb.05-stirthepot07-coffee3

Wasn't any better his freshman year. Little better last year but regressed to teh mean seemingly

He's the kid we all knew growing up who always got by on natural talent, he never worked to hone that talent because everyone always kept telling him he's great. That lack of effort is showing now.

And before anyone says he just threw a TD pass, it was behind CJ, he had to stop and come back to catch it.

Game could easily be 14-10 ECU at the half. 21-3 instead.

Temple fans have a legitimate gripe though. Scrolling through Twitter, coaching staff has tried to back out of the last 3 games but were unsuccessful. Tried it again today with 1 player being tested for COVID, 4 more potential starters out, in addition to pretty much every position group playing their 2nd and 3rd string. QB is 5th string walk-on. No team in the country would want to play like that.

Its pretty ridiculous from a player safety standpoint.

Temple with their 6th string QB means it's a Running Back that can kinda throw. Damn.

He's our top WR. He has a 35 yard completion this year.

I just want this season to be over

http://https://twitter.com/templeowlsdai...69986?s=21

“ Important to note that 26 of the 51 scholarship players in uniform today for Temple are freshmen, and more than 20 of those 26 rookies have seen minimal or no playing time this season.”

Not that it makes me feel any better and Rod Carey should be shot into the sun anyways

Happy to be up 28-3 but coach Houston is a little too conservative for my taste and Ahlers needs to be more consistent.

On a side note, I really like this uniform combo.

Ahlers doesn't even need to be in the game up 25 with 9 minutes left.

About 1:00 left, so congrats Pirates on your win.

As for Temple, I’m not one for excuses, but we have half our scholarship players out for the last several weeks. Many teams around the country have postponed or cancelled games with far less attrition. My concern is looking ahead, the damage this season does to our recruiting and support. I can only hope that Carey can rally the team, use the us against the world mentality, to build the Owls back up.

Have they viewed it as a young talent developmental year? With how the NCAA has handled this season for eligibility a lot of schools see it that way.

A W is as W. Would have liked it to have been more but won't discount what it was considering our AAC tenure of matches with Temple.
