Another tough matchup for our boys. First, Ball State scores a lot of points and we don't, so there's that. Second, they are going to attack the edges with Caleb Huntley and our secondary run support is not too good so that spells trouble. Especially if our offense keeps the defense out there for any length of time. Hopefully we get a lot of guys in the game and use it as development time.

Honestly I don’t see how our offense can’t change from last week to this week. We learned a lot...I hope.

Snaps to mobile QBs...Bowers plays 50% or less of the snaps this week. He has happy feet (I don’t blame him) and doesn’t scramble (again...how can you blame him?)

We see fletcher and Thompson a bunch this week. Waylee gets 15 carries.

I find this thread quite amusing. There are a whole lot of NIU fans who don't quite understand the concept of being a fan. Expecting NIU to get blown out by a MAC team that hasn't blown anyone out and struggled against mediocre MAC teams is kind of the opposite of what I call a NIU fan.
I predict NIU will beat the spread.
