So...Syracuse will actually have to play a first-round game (and second-round for that matter) NOT in the state of New York? Cool.

And Duke/N.Carolina will actually have to travel by air for their first/secound-round games? VERY COOL.

Finally, some truly 'neutral site' Big Dance games. I still remember when Carolina had Bill Guthridge as coach and they had to play Weber State in Phoenix. They lost in the first round.

I guess that the NCAA people didn't want to travel.

Too early to listen. Vaccine comes through. Deaths go way down, or up. You never know. Lets figure out if the tournament in South Dakota is actually going to happen first.

Expected, but I really though Orlando. Maybe Disney had enough, trying to placate all the different conferences for their holiday tourneys.

The only thing about Disney is when they originally made plans for the MLS and NBA bubbles the park was closed. Now that the park is open I dont know if they'd have room for it 60+ teams AND have enough rooms for people wanting to go to the parks.

Right now, they still have many of the resorts closed. They are the value and moderate level resorts, typically, so paying guests are staying at the deluxe priced resorts. But a significant amount of their inventory is not open.

CBS probably doesn't want to support a rival network, and vice-versa.

That makes a lot of sense, they don't want to show panoramic shots of all the Disney parks to provide free ads for ABC/ESPN

This is exactly it. Florida has more than sufficient capacity for the tournament and Disney would LOVE this business. CBS, however, is not going to hand that over to Disney. Fine by me, though, because I think ESPN/ABC sports coverage sucks.

Duke whines that their hotel is in the western suburbs, and it’s not fair they have to travel so far.

That, or we finish a little over .500 and 5th place in the conference.

Maybe we can get a CBI home game?

I thought it was pretty clear...

Less smoke. More wins.
