Only family members of players and coaches will be able to attend men’s and women’s basketball games at Savage Arena “for an indefinite period of time,” the University of Toledo announced Monday.

There will be no ticket sales to the general public or students due to ongoing concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic.

So basically the same policy eastern Michigan has been using for the past 15 years.

All of the home games and most of the road games will be on ESPN3 or ESPN+

I'm sad for my kids. But its for the greater good. They love going to games. Football is one thing. With the maction schedules they only get to see a few games a year and don't identify with the players as much.

With the basketball rockets, my boys really get to know the players and we see most of their home games and some away games. Its fun to hear them argue over who their favorite players are or who was better than who over a couple of seasons.
