Does Vegas have odds on if the game will actually be played?

Looks like this game is going to happen. If they were going to cancel, I think it would have happened by now. Looking forward to a good game tomorrow Rice fans.

The Rice defenders look like they've never seen a jump cut by a RB before. They are grasping at air.

Weird side note: What is the deal with the Rice jerseys ripping today? Saw several of them torn and one DB had to get a whole new jersey. Is that normal for Adidas unis?

There's a whole lot of players in the sophomore class that have flashed the last two games, I know everyone gets tired of reading University of Next Year posts but we are one of the youngest teams in the nation and playing much better now. The offensive line controlled the game today and they are entirely underclassmen, most improved group from last season hands down.

Looking forward to how the season plays out because it appears we have turned a corner.

I think our d-line with Novil and the Murphy twins has been the biggest area of improvement as the season has unfolded. The D-line produced 5 sacks and 9 tackles for loss today. That is incredible production from that unit, and probably the biggest factor in shutting down the Rice offense today.

I'm not ready to speculate on turning any corners. I don't feel like we're close to that point yet. I still have concerns.

Considering the circumstances, Rice fans did a solid job of taking up seats today. I'd say there were about as many of them as UNT fans.

Rice always has the most polite fans. They are respectful and kind. And their players are just like them. I've been to every North Texas/Rice game since joining C-USA, and I have never seen them play dirty. They always play this game like gentlemen, and I truly respect that. Best of luck with the rest of your season. Rice remains my second favorite C-USA program, and I will be cheering for you the rest of the season.
