Monday Musings
We lost another football game, played ok but another L. Don't think the seat warmer is on due to covid.
No family and friends at Rynearson for the game vs Toledo. Translation same crowd size as most mid-week November games.
Michigan and MSU probably are disappointed they have to keep playing this year as both teams are ungood at the footballing.
South Carolina gives Will Muschamp 13 million dollars to leave. D1 head coach the only job where getting fired pays more then working.

Finally, I was critical of the opening of Ypsi Prep. I know think it is a great idea as it may be the only chance for Michigan High School Basketball players to play games. Per the directive of the MDDHS all high schools are online for probably an indefinite period of time. They can take their carnival show on the road for a few weeks, get exposure on ESPN and a chance to play college basketball in 2022 or whenever it comes back.

Maybe Bates can 'redshirt' a year... 03-lmfao

When I was in h.s. I wanted to 'redshirt' (repeat) my 10th grade on the J.V. team.

They told me "You're too smart to repeat 10th grade and not athletic enough to have a future in varsity football. You should spend those afternoon hours hitting the books, forget hitting the blocking sled. And since you're not a quarterback forget the cheerleaders too. We don't need another Walter Mitty" 03-lmfao

(okay, this story is embellished a LOT).

I hope EMU can pipe in some crowd noise. Nothing worse than a game with ZERO crowd noise. At least other sports, etc. have created an atmosphere.

We've had plenty of time to 'figure this out.' It has been done for months now in various sports.
