Spurrier, mainly because of the 5 straight wins over Clemson.
Morrison is probably #2, mostly because he died before he would have eventually got them put on major probation.
A few old timers hold. Carlen in high regard. They never should have ran him off, but watching your two biggest rivals win national titles in back to back years while you couldn’t even win your bowl with the Heisman winner gives delusions of grandeur to folks.

Lou Holtz couldn't do it, Spurrier was able to produce three 11 win seasons but couldn't sustain that momentum, winning has never come easily in Columbia.
In fairness, both Holtz and Spurrier were old, on the downsides of their coaching careers, they were not the Holtz of Notre Dame and Spurrier of Florida, and both did do some significant winning at SC, at least compared to Muschamp.
Minus Holtz first year (0-11) he did well. SC was a mess when he came in.
Yes, it was an absolute cluster when he walked in. We had walk ons and defensive players all over our offense.
Did a good job after that. Hung on a year or two too long, but he did some good things.

This is mostly correct. Also tons of wins over UGA (at one point we had won 9 of our last 10 against the two schools) and then obviously the East title and 11 win seasons.

Georgia and Florida look great for the near future (as they often do) but they have arguably the top school as their non-conference rival every year that I'm sure they are tired of seeing be more successful than they are.
South Carolina fans, there's a longtime P5 coach with College Football Playoff experience available who has a long track record of outperforming blueblood divisional rivals, winning multiple division championships, and winning multiple conference championships, despite the presence of a more celebrated blueblood program in his state...one that he dominated for the vast majority of his tenure.
Now...suppose I were to tell you that this coach is a South Carolina alum?
