You know, I have honestly never heard of them except on this forum. As most people, I do not pay much attention to FCS except for regional teams. At this moment, to me it is more appealing to get poach a couple of the C-USA teams like Marshall and USM. The Cajuns and USA would instantly have a good baseball rival by adding USM. Adding Rice would also be great for Cajun fans.

Not gonna lie, I'd be very very nervous if Sun Belt invited KSU. Even their budget is around the midpoint of other Sun Belt schools. I doubt that is happening though. Rumor has it they're moving to another conference within the FCS anyway.

Just to be clear... I was talking the staff, as in coaching hire... not the team moving up to FBS. Sorry if not clear.

Talon enjoys himself heaping spoonfuls of trash talk. I think it's probably the dumbest aspect of sports out there. I couldn't do it. On the other hand, you have entire groups of people who overlay the actions of a loud few across many who don't deserve that. VaTech is giving him another year. They had so many Opt Outs and COVID issues this year wasn’t really fair. But I’ve heard he absolutely hates recruiting. So he won’t last long at a P5 program.

It was reported in a few places that Fuentes was fired, but apparently it was in error. I saw it too.
