Wondering if the whole conference will get the 6 games in before pulling the plug.

Hindsight is 20-20, but too bad we didn’t start Labor Day weekend. Our last games of a full 8 game slate (with bye week) would be next week.

Yes!!!

I was promulgating that view on the EMU board during summer.

Like Dr. Fauci was predicting as the weather turned colder we would hit a '2nd wave.'
Whether this is a 2nd wave or oscillating waves (although there being an upward trajectory), I'd rather play FB in Sept, Oct and early November than start in early November.

We got ALL of the worse effects: 1). Gave up the fall weather in September.
2). Lost the August anticipation for September CFB.
3). Took a chance that the virus would be more prevalent in Dec than in Sept.
4). Precluded OOC games.

One way or another, there will be a MAC Champion crowned. I'm just glad we are getting any games at all. Spring football was never gonna happen.

Hopefully the Ohio players and staff will be ok. I know UB had 20 players test positive in late Sept - early Oct. They would not have been able to play under the protocols now.
