Wasn't sure where to put this, but it seems Covid has caused MLB to decide to cut some minor league franchises. The Tides could be on the chopping block. Seems unlikely, but people in Maryland would like to see all the Os affiliates in state. Norfolk is the only one not near Baltimore.

Long before COVID, MLB was looking to cut down the minor leagues. COVID has just sped up the process.

This. They've been planning a cutdown for years now; I think the initial plans started to come to light last year. Rookie ball is no longer a thing; the Appalachian League is now a collegiate baseball league.
One potential positive for the Tides is that the Nationals might be looking to bring their Triple A affiliation closer to home. That might provide an opportunity for Richmond to rejoin the International League, which would rekindle the rivalry with Norfolk (last time I checked, almost all of the Tides' most-attended games were against the R-Braves, though in fairness, a lot of them coincided with fireworks). Returning to a Norfolk-Richmond-Durham-Charlotte division is very tidy.

the Braves love Gwinnett County though, a 20 minute drive from their home park, I guess the IL could expand at the cost of the PCL, but it would 2 teams to make it work.
Washington's AAA is Fresno
maybe a switch of league with Indianapolis would work.
Indy would have Iowa, Memphis and Nashville as sorta rivals, instead of Toledo, Columbus and Louisville (I'm talking myself out this idea)

The Braves own their Triple A team so they can move it as they please (unless they sold it? I know they owned it when they were in Richmond and sent the R-Braves to the Atlanta burbs because of how crummy The Diamond was).
The Nats apparently are looking at Rochester to place their AAA team, since Twins switched their affiliation to St. Paul, elevating the independent Saints to AAA. This is per the Richmond Times-Dispatch, which says the Giants will most likely keep their AA team in Richmond for the next cycle.

ODU says seating will be limited to suite and courtside seat holders only. If you have already purchased tickets, you have these options:
1. If restriction is lifted at some point, exchange your ticket for a future game.
2. Receive a refund at the end of the season.
3. Credit towards next season.
4. Donate it to ODAF.
Also, the W&M game will be streamed on odusports.com for free. No mention of any other games.
