Game Month: EMU MBB
Cute way of saying we are about 2 weeks from our first games but not this week.

Games can begin as early as Nov 25.

We have one known OOC game and then an early game vs. TOL.

I agree with Pitno back the regular season up until March and play May Madness. Non-conference scheduling will be ad-hoc at best and non existent at worst.

Beat me to that post Fan. This football season has been a clusterf--k and with infections increasing, it seems silly to try and start the season in 2020.

Doubt many EMU fans have been thinking of asking time off work to travel with EMU to the Big Dance... but in case:

https://twitter.com/marchmadness/status/...30689?s=20

Looks like the games will be in Indy, and not all over the country as typical. Big loss for Detroit and LCA.

RE: Game Month: EMU MBB
March Madness... May Madness... without an absolute miracle we've got nothing to worry about playing beyond the first round of the MAC Tournament.

I hope I'm proven wrong. Truly, I do.

But we've seen RM lose with much more talented rosters than this one. I was fine with Murph until my dad called me FUMING two years ago after a coach's luncheon at the Ypsi Alehouse where he told the crowd that recruiting to EMU/Ypsilanti was like recruiting to Afghanistan. Talk about endearing yourself to the alumni base!

Good riddance. Give me a Thomas brother at the helm ASAP.

According to Murphy/Tom Helmer, we are playing:

@MSU on 11/25 (on BTN)
SIU-Edwardsville (neutral court) on 11/28
@YSU on 29th
1 other team at the tournament at Youngstown State on the 27th.

Yikes. It’ll be a rough first impression, but hopefully we can win the other 3 non con games.

RE: Game Month: EMU MBB
The online schedule has no OOC games listed. Not that that means anything, just pointing it out.

Wonder if the new order from the state levels have altered those original OOC plans from when that interview was recorded. According to the Michigan Coronavirus page: Professional Sports (includes a limited number of NCAA sports) are still open with no spectators.

BUT, Theaters, Movie Theaters, Stadiums and Arenas are not open.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do you think we get an official announcement about the schedule someday soon?

As a Spartan fan, I am really looking forward to Wednesday's game. I have no faith in Murphy. He should not still be coaching Eastern Michigan University but I am interested to see Joey Hauser play for MSU. I want to see Joshua Langford and hope he is healthy. Is Rocket Watts the answer at PG? Compelling game. Of course I love EMU, but I don't know really what to root for. Keep it within 30?

Just saw this on socials... looks like Murph was able to get a few of his non-D1’s back on the schedule.

Thanks. If I am counting we will be playing 25 games.

My take is we are hosting whomever we can who will agree to play us at the Convo for the price of 100 Covid tests or some other small sum of money.

I'm sure if a school said, "75K and we're warming up the bus" would be refused by us for financial reasons.

Also slashed travel budget whIch means no tournaments.

LOL you’re 100% correct

but even in a perfectly normal year with no global pandemic I’m fairly certain there’s no way EMU pays someone 75K to come to the Convo.

Question because I am not able to attend games in person does ESPN+ carry most of the men's and women's hoops games? I did subscribe.
