Ultimately, I think that a top med school and medical research university is going to look extremely stupid if they don't require a vax or a recent negative test. I suppose the Alabama numbers could take a big drop in a month, but I have seen nothing to support anything but a curve that continues to rise.

Yeah, politics gets involved, I understand. I also understand the national perception of UAB is involved.

For once, bammer and AU being mentioned and UAB not plays in our favor. We dodged a bullet on that one. Dr. Saag is a public health doctor who has been a go to quote nationally ever since Covid fired up. It is unrealistic to expect him not to comment now, or to hope that he says what we want to hear instead of what he perceives as the best course during a pandemic.

does uab have a choice. didnt the state pass laws preventing requiring people be vaccinated.

At the very least, Collins and Anthony Fauci should be charged with lying to Congress. I believe they have known the entire time where Covid-19 came from and have been part of covering up an accident for which the US and China share liability. Many others including Peter Daszak were also complicit.

I expected eventual mandates but I thought they would come from the corporate side. This is a pretty sweeping use of executive power. I would say a supreme court review is inevitable.

I got mine. I’m 280lbs. Does a player at 6’4 280 Lbs need one? How about a 5’10 180 lb DB? No. There’s probably many healthy people in the work force that don’t need it either. Because we know it don’t stop the spread.

They used pregnant women the last week or two as the latest scare. Which I’m sure they were using what they recorded for the entire pandemic and saying that, that’s what occurred in recency. My sister just gave birth to her 2nd child at UAB last month. They weren’t even showing any type of urgency or forcing masks when all of this big issue was supposed to be occurring
