Tulane's decisive defeat of Army might boost the stature of the AAC a bit, which might be helpful to Cincy.

I think it might be the opposite. Cincinnati beat Army early in the season, and Army was on the cusp of being ranked in both polls again. I don't think it's a huge factor either way though.
