Oregon had a 40 yard KO return and 50 yard pass leading to a TD with 3 seconds left in first half (got the ball with 24 seconds left). Seem to be taking control. 28-19 early in 4th.
If Oregon and SMU hold on to their leads, I don't think any ranked team loses.
I'm not sure any favorite, ranked or not, is losing today. Everything VERY predictable, although USC and Miami certainly had close calls.

But .... you base that on how they looked beating ECU and other soft teams. Who you play greatly affects how you look.

Not sure how Harbaugh survives that. Worst first half by Michigan I've ever seen.

That's impressive. As far as I can tell, this is SJSU's first 4-0 start since 1955.

There are plenty of soft teams in the PAC12, ACC, and B10 this year... everyone but Oregon and USC in the PAC12, everyone in the ACC except Notre Dame and Clemson and everyone in the B10 except Ohio State and Wisconsin. Even schools in the BXII have been unimpressive with losses to Arkansas State and Louisiana.

Yes, but the computers may not agree. For example, I just look at Sagarin, it currently has Cincy's schedule at #104. That's poor. Yes, the schedule will get better with UCF, Tulsa and the CCG. But there is also Temple in there.
I could be wrong, but I see a 12-0 Cincy losing out to one-loss teams from the SEC, ACC or Big 12.

Agreed. IU is in the top 10 at 4-0 and their wins are against teams that are a combined 3-12. Cincy's opponents have 22 wins. Technically NW has better wins and is 4-0 also (albeit close wins). Big Ten is turbo wacky this year, never seen it this strange.

Really hard to get a gauge on computer stuff with very limited OOC play and PAC teams that have 1-2 games.

Northwestern and Indiana are 8-0. Michigan and Penn St are 1-7.
Indiana won its first game on ABC since 1988 yesterday.

NW hosts Whisky next week. If they win that game, tall order, they could win out. IU still has OSU, Whisky, and Bucket game Purdue and MD.

RE: General Game Discussion, November 14
SOS is very hard to gauge in this shortened year, but I still use it and compare offensive and defensive ranks compared to that schedule.
Off/Def/SOS:
Cincinnati- 34/11/100, add it together and you have 145.
Alabama- 1/7/16 = 24
Ohio State- 2/6/42 = 50
Notre Dame- 12/8/69= 89
Clemson- 4/8/72 = 84 - I then add 10 to Clemson because they lost to get 94.
Of course there are still, Indiana, Northwestern, Florida, Texas A&M etc... out there that I'm too lazy to add.
So, Cincinnati has to beat two teams listed above to win it all. Can it be done? Sure, but I wouldn't bet my life on it. I'm all for Cincinnati and cheer them on every week, but I'm realistic too.
Bearcats!
Just keep winning and see what the future holds.

UCLA beats Cal 34-10 in today's on the fly game.
Big Ups to the PAC for allowing its schools the flexibility to schedule these games on the fly in the face of Covid cancelations.
That means that we had college football on six straight days, from last Monday to today. I wonder when the last time that happened during the regular (non-bowl) season?

No question, it is hard to gauge, and probably the gauges will be inaccurate. But I think the CFP will use it anyway.
