MyBB Basketball Seasons Update
Letter on the status of the men’s and women’s basketball seasons.

Dear Rice Basketball season ticket members,

Our Men's and Women's Basketball seasons are set to begin soon, and we hope you are excited! Both teams have been back on campus since August, working hard to compete for C-USA championships this year. Our schedules are currently being finalized and we hope to unveil them soon!

Once our schedules are announced, we will be opening up our season ticket renewals for both sports. We are currently working in collaboration with campus to finalize our seating plans, however, we do have new COVID-19 safety guidelines from C-USA. These guidelines limit us to 15% capacity and require fan seating to be a minimum of 25 ft. from the court. While these new rules will affect our current seating layouts, we are hopeful we can accommodate our fans in a way that provides the best and safest gameday atmosphere possible. More information will follow once our schedules are released.

We are so grateful for your continued support, understanding, and patience as we prepare for the season. It is needed more than ever right now! Please let us know if you have any questions, and feel free to contact us any time at tickets@rice.edu or (713) 348-OWLS.

Thank you and Go Owls!

So assuming the University Admin doesn’t shut out fans like they have for football (most likely outcome IMO), CUSA is limiting capacity to 15%, about 780 for Tudor.
