Miami guy I used to work with has brought this up every year for the past 10-12 years (in fact, I even recall him bringing it up back before that). He's seen the light though- he got UC season tickets a couple years ago and his oldest is now in his second year at UC.

Reading the Miami board and reading posts from guys like Bullet and Miami (OH!) on this board it appears that guys that moved out of the area 20 years ago don't understand how far divergent these two programs are right now. The local ones realize there is no comparison between the two programs now and hasn't been for a long time.

And if we're being honest, most students up there at that time even were more concerned about the ski slopes they'd be hitting at Sigma Chi every weekend than the football games anyways.

As a 2006 Miami Graduate, you are right. It was a great ride though.

Better is coming. So many freshman on defensive line and offensive line contributing now and they will hopefully become older, stronger juniors and seniors. The fumble that was overturned was the correct call and if the fake punt was not called by Fickel then I commend the UC player who called it based on how ECU lined up. If we don’t like it then do something about it.
