I can find absolutely no information on Rivals or ESPN for Brandon Hall. Am I missing something?

RE: Recruits for 2021-22
Offered a JUCO PG Wayln Napper
Interesting with only 1 (currently) scholarship they would offer
a PG, we have the two freshmen, and Sloan as of now was denied his waiver. That would put 4 on the team next year
if this guy signed.

If Sloan wins his appeal that would free up another.

I am sure there will be attrition and more scholarships will be available next
year But right now
Adheke and Patterson are the only 2 eligible seniors on scholarship.

Already signed Hall so we are at 1.

RE: Recruits for 2021-22
Shay said on the coaches show last night the NCAA may allowed for expanded rosters next year, and expanded scholarship players - could be up to 16 as I understand. And - guys can get an extra year of eligibility. He called Monsanto a "third year freshman." Not sure I completely understand it, but it sounds like there's going to be a major backlog at some point. Shay anticipated it affecting the HS senior class of '22 more so than the HS senior class of '21.

Bring back junior varsity teams and play them before the ''big game.''

RE: Recruits for 2021-22
This year does count against eligibility. All players get an extra year

Monsanto was a true freshman, 2nd year a redshirt freshman and next year retains a redshirt freshman designation because of the NCAA Covid rule. Hence, a 3rd yr freshman.

This one had offers from: Troy, Towson, Robert Morris, App St, Elon,Kent St, Howard, Radford, Hampton, ODU, Norfolk St according to Big Shots Nation. His dad played for Portland and Dallas in the NBA and was his high school coach. Looks pretty good to me!

Looks good but we do seem to be going guard heavy. All of our guards except Sloan return next year, so I wonder what the plan is with all of the new guards that will be joining.

I was actually wondering about Sloan having another year. Aren't all players getting another year for the "covid" year

Yes and no. The NCAA is adding the year but the funding for additional years of scholarships/eligibility has to come from the University. The reality is that ETSU and most mids will not be able to "give" all seniors in all sports another year of tuition. For ETSU that would be 100 or more scholarships=an additional million dollars in an environment when athletic budgets have been cut because of the pandemic.
