Ingram Interview on Jox
https://omny.fm/shows/the-roundtable-wjo...ark-ingram

Several items of note:

- Said contract tracing wiped out almost all of one of our position groups

- Quarantine rules for this position group have put next week's UTEP game in jeopardy. Trying to work with their AD on a solution and see if some guys in this position group who were unavailable for UNT due to injury may be available against UTEP to balance out the contract tracing sit outs.

- CUSA has decided for basketball that games must be played if you have at least 7 players available (though you can choose to play with as few as 5). If a game isn't played due to a Covid issue on your team, it counts as a forfeit.

- At Bartow, following similar seating model to Legion Field and no fans will be closer than 25 feet to the court.

I would think Bartow should be MORE aggressive than Legion Field given that one is outside and one is inside.

But at the rate we are going, I wouldn't be surprised if most of our sports weren't completely canceled within a month.

Having not listened to the interview,, did Ingram indicate that members of OUR team are not able to play ( have Covid or have been potentially exposed and are quaranteened) ?? I thought that the problem was with UNT's team.

Very first thing in the summary by hooverblazer:

" - Said contract tracing wiped out almost all of one of our position groups"

33/40 reports that both UNT and UAB had positives (3 for us) but contact tracing took out most of the DBs. After quarantine it would be after UTEP before they got them back

I just honestly don't see us playing another down of football after the super-spreader Thanksgiving week this country is about to unleash. All those players going back home and then coming back on campus?

Meh we play when we can. If we can’t we can’t. It’s going to be an interesting next 6 months.

Hopefully the receivers can get over the sniffles and taste their Thanksgiving turkey in time to play

Agreed. It’s not looking good.
