When Andric, Maric and Stulic are on the court at the same time, they can communicate in Serbian and (probably) no one on the other team can understand them. So Andric would not have to give a signal to Maric that he is about to throw an alley-oop pass, he can just tell him out loud in Serbian. Or if he wants to hit Stulic on a backdoor cut, he can just tell him to do it, right out in the open. Sort of like when the U.S. used the Navajo language as an unbreakable code during WWII.
