I do kind of live under a rock. BUT a few years ago I started to really marvel at the success of the Bro Country "formula." This is remarkable (I don't think this guy even had to change the keys)...





Not sure I can say most of it is all that "good" (although I do think a few bro artists have some really well-written songs, e.g. FGL's "Dirt")...but I get why it is (or was) popular...

Some of Combs may be "bro" country, but Church would throat punch someone calling his music bro country.
