We lost 10-48 to CMU last year. Maybe this year is an improvement?
OK yes I am disappointed, however if we beat BSU this week I will have something to cheer about.

That could happen some day but it is a position that he might/might not be interested in.

For now Hammock deserves a chance to succeed or fail and although he has not yet had success he does have several things going for him.

He has shown the ability to recruit
He loves NIU and passionately wants to succeed
His has relevant and valuable position coaching experience college and NFL
He places a strong value on academics and character
He can be a good ambassador for NIU

The jury is still out on whether or not he can become a good head coach but he is our head coach and it is far too soon to determine if his attempts to rebuild the program will be successful.
