Rice signed 6-6 Damion McDowell, Jr. and 6-8 Jaden Geron. Both are from California and shooting guard/small forward types. Not sure if either is ranked nationally, but Geron's brother plays at Washington.

We didn't sign any intergalactic stars, but the outgoing head of NASA (Jim Bridenstine) is a Rice grad who is using up his eligibility.

Not sure what UAB is doing. Outside shot at Jamel King and Ja’heim Hudson leading into tomorrow.

Most likely won’t be filling any of our spots until springtime.

NASA had gone downhill since Ellen Stofan left. Then they changed chefs and I was pretty much done.

Hmm, I don't know enough to comment. I just know that NASA has pretty consistently been receiving a smaller and smaller share of our federal budget spending since 1991. It was at 1.05% of the federal budget in 1991, and has dwindled down to 0.48%. It's a good thing the private sector has picked up some of the slack.

RE: C-USA 2021 Men's Basketball Signings
Back to the topic though, UTSA hasn't made any huge acquisitions, but Jordan Ivy-Curry, Cedric Alley Jr., and Eric Parrish might be three who could have an immediate impact. Here's our humble offering to the thread...

Aleu Aleu - 6'7" 170 G/F, originally from Kenya, moved to Austin, Texas in 2012, sophomore transfer from Temple College

Dhieu Deing - 6'5" 166 G, sophomore transfer from USC-Aiken.

Jordan Ivy-Curry - 6'2" 165 G, Freshman from La Marque HS, Texas 4A Player of the Year in 2020, Led all Texas high schools in scoring (30.5 points, 7.1 assists, 5.2 rebounds, 2.2 steals)

Lachlan Bofinger - 6'6" 215 F, Freshman from Sydney Australia, was on the Australia U17 FIBA World Cup team

Cedric Alley Jr. - 6'6" 225 F, RS Junior transfer from UH, 3-Star (0.8333 composite in HS), saw more action for UH as a RS freshman than as a RS sophomore as he was one of only 7 players who played in all 37 games that year.

Eric Parrish - 6'6" 195 G/F, Junior transfer from Nevada (though he played in all 32 games, with 21 starts as a Freshman at Akron). Played at Bossier Parrish Community College as a sophomore and was ranked by 247Sports as the fourth-best junior college prospect in the nation.

There is no better place for good food than San Antonio. You need to feed your recruits!

Can't argue with this statement. The food in San Antonio is second to none. And it will definitely put the pounds on anyone!

Obinna Anochili-Killen, 6'8 200 PF, Chapmanville Regional HS, Chapmanville WV

David Early 6'4, 240 SG, Logan HS, Logan WV

Both signed in the early signing period. Chapmaville and Logan are 14 miles apart and are rivals. So for the past 4 years OAK and Early have been going at it on the court. Both schools are roughly 1 hour 1/2 away from Huntington.

Chapmanville 55 miles
Logan 67 miles
