Dangit.... A lot of Troy fans and players were looking forward to this game too. We were even wearing special white uniforms at home for this game.

I wonder which group of players got COVID?

Not sure how this gets made up. I think Troy doesn't have any leeway.

Yeah, I don't see it happening. The other teams that postponed on Troy when the season started left us playing a season with literally no bye-weeks. It's been a grind.

I don't expect the Troy/Coastal game to be made up.

They might as well cancel our game against Troy

We get your home game bumped from ESPN+, to ESPNU, and then to ESPN2. And this is the thanks we get...

In all seriousness, rest up and get healthy

This game will he made up. Even if after the Championship game depending on what happens. Coastal pulls weight right now, compared to other teams, and would have priority. I could see the conference moving makeups around.

I dunnooooo... I guess it depends on what the standings/national rankings look like later on, and if it benefits Coastal to play.

How many games is Troy looking to make up? If y’all have two already, guess one would have to get canceled? There’s only two weeks between end of season and Champ Game, correct?

I can’t see the Sun Belt wanting any team potentially in the race for a division title to not make up a division game. Have to think Coastal/Troy gets priority for make up. Would likely mean we’d lose the Liberty game as a result, which would suck, the ways they’ve played.

The ULM and USA games were already rescheduled from earlier in the season, they are now Troy's last two games of the season (Dec. 5 and Dec. 12), with the SBC Championship being on Dec. 19.

I just don't know how it's going to work.

Would have to think the Sun Belt would drop the non-division Troy/ULM game and replace with potentially division winner impacting CCU/Troy game.

This at least is most logical.

My guess is Troy and MTSU will either play December 19th or just move the game to another year.

If MTSU doesn't want to, Troy and Coastal just won't play because we're not going to risk Coastal losing a ranking (if they are still ranked in December) and Troy will want ULM to make the win easier for bowl consideration.

EDIT - NM, didn't realize Troy and MTSU was next week.

That would require Keith Gill to use foresight and logic. Not gonna happen.

You'd also be asking Coastal to drop an easier conference game against Texas State, and I doubt they'd want to trade and easier conference game for a tougher one.

Coastal would also be potentially losing a big home game with NY6 implications if they drop Liberty.

I just don't see this game being re-scheduled. All of the remaining games on Coastal's schedule are important to them.

Texas St doesn’t come into play. I’m talking 12/5, the day of the Troy/ULM make up, and the CCU/LU game.

I think Coastal would be fine not making up the Troy game, I have harder time thinking the conference would think a division winner playing one less division game is “fair”.

But, if Coastal loses to App St, or LU loses to NC St, both next week, it’s all a moot point.

If both win, I think it best for the conference to make sure that CCU/LU game happens.

I agree. That game would go A LONG WAY with the CFP Committee in deciding who would be worthy of the NY6 invite between a potentially undefeated Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, and Marshall.

Coastal is not passing an undefeated Cincinnati.
