Bull.

We had a 7-0 lead against UMass 87 seconds into the game.

We had a 7-0 lead and 110 yards of offense against FAU after 4:55 of offensive possession time through the first 2 drives.

We weren’t in sync at all during the FAU game. We scored 20 points the whole game. UMASS drove right down the field and tied the game at 7, so yeah... slow start.

Smaller margin, but it did secure a second straight losing season for rick stockstill. He needs to go, so does the AD, and the President. Just blow the damn thing up.

Good Luck to Marshall.

My sentiments EXACTLY. 04-cheers

Grant was simply a freshman, playing the most important position in what was called the most meaningful game of his career. He was just too pumped to start the game and was overthrowing the ball. It was what it was.

I’ll say something I haven’t see mentioned, I forget which long TD it is was, but he stood in on one as a defender was flying in on him with a free run. You know he could see the guy coming, but he hung in, stepped into the throw, and made a great pass. It was an NFL, Tom Brady kind of calm under pressure type play. Green never would have made that play. Even Cato would have focused more on avoiding the hit. It was big time and I’m anxious for Dunk to get his video out so I can see it again.

Grant Wells is going to be amazing as he matures.

He has it all. Size, poise, arm, scrambling. He has the potential to be a future first round pick in the NFL if he keeps this up.

He normally throws a very accurate, deadly deep ball.

I concur with others, those early overthrows were just nerves.

Middle clearly game planned to take out the run at the expense of Grant Wells passing. He made them pay for that decision as the game went on.
