Doesn't change the facts. in 2020 everyone has to play without key players and survive. Now, some teams are given more rope for excuses than other teams, but that's normal bias anyway.

This was BYUs 8th game and Boise’s 2nd game of the season. You just can’t ignore this.

And that's why this season is really nothing more than a huge asterisk when it's said and done. And that's from top to bottom.

Teams still build programs and fire coaches even with asterisks. thats why the season still matters, but yes asterisk can be applied.

Not could be, 100% should be. Teams having games cancelled that obviously would've had an effect on the season amongst a ton of other reasons.
