Jackson now listed as TE and not QB

I saw him get a target as a WR last game. Transitioning him to WR or TE? I'm all for getting playmakers the ball and if he can make plays, good on him and the coacing staff for being open to a new position.

him and grissom could be great wildcats options

I'll take a WILD (not wildcat) guess:

We are pretty well stocked at QB. Not only, obviously, Hutch but Heiberg sitting out this year.

And then more newcomers like Baron May so some may need to switch positions if they don't have the arm for QB.

If I were to look at a 2021 QB depth chart it would be Hutch, Heiberg and May. How do we give 4 or 5 QBs PT at that position (without a slew of injuries)?

I agree. We have serious depth at QB. CC has said in the past that 2 QB's are pretty much the norm and I think in the last 4-5 years we have always ended up with 2 guys going for stretches. The 2021 roster looks REALLY good. Hoping Aaron finds a position he can play and contribute. Seems like a good asset to the team.

Kent State demolishing BGSU tonight. 55-17 with 6:00 left in the 4th quarter.

I'm thinking that was one of the better MAC teams we played last week.

RE: Game Week: @BSU
I'm seeing this morning we are 8.5 point dogs, which seems hi to me.

The defense makes me seriously question if we have what it takes to win tonight, but the offense is good enough that if I were a betting man (I am), I would take us plus the points (I am).

I'd like to use the results of last night's Kent State game as something to help project our game tonight, but unfortunately I think Bowling Green is the cellar dweller of the East (watch for Akron to finally snap its losing streak at home against BGSTD4U on 12/5).

Hope I can get the CBS Sports Network revved up and cooking in time for the game!

Go Green!

Also want to note:
I really really hope Boone is back and close to 100%.

His appearance last week was incredible for his first start, and his injury really effected the offense and made us basically abandon the run altogether.

This would be a good time to get the running game in gear. Any word on Boone?

I saw he was on top of the depth chart in the notes, but other than that I haven't heard or seen anything.

Think its a little of Column A (Kent being good) and Column B(BGSU being terrible)

Kinda makes me sad we don't play BG though.

I feel like these are the games that the "Breakthrough" campaign is about. The expectations of just being competitive are a thing of the past. We need to breakthrough and be in the top tier of the MAC with a win tonight. We need this one and I have a good feeling about it. Things I am looking for tonight....

1. Can Hutch continue with his strong play and protect the ball?
2. Will Drummond be available?
3. Can Beydoun post a 3rd consecutive 100 yard receiving game?
4. Can we get an edge rush?
5. Can our DB's stay with their WR's. We got lucky last week with a few badly thrown balls. (Having a pass rush will help with this).

Go Eagles!

#4 and #5 will dictate if we win or lose! Also, tackling Huntley! Offense should never be an issue! DL and DB needs to play substantially better then in week 1! If we want to think about a bowl game, this's a must win, especially with Toledo next week!

Long TD bailed out by a holding call, and then Ball State...ran it twice in a row. I’ll take it. Let’s go offense.

Welp, thank goodness for that penalty, but we do end up with a stop on defense. I thought for sure BSU would end the drive with 7 after getting to midfield on the kick return.
