Looks pretty reasonable to me. WKU and NT should definitely be 1 & 2 and it get's kind of blurry after that. I might raise Charlotte & LT up and drop UAB down a couple spaces.

Dont know who you would take off but I do know there's not 3 players on the list that deserves to be on it more than Carson Williams. I cant make an argument for any of the ten on the list not deserving to be there...but I can make the argument for Carson Williams to be on it.

Personally I think it should have been more balanced...too many guards

With that being announced hopefully it's a good omen for USM as we don't play WKU (#1), Marshall (#3), ODU (#5) or Charlotte (#6). As well, we have UNT (#2), and UTEP (#8) at home for 2 each along with La Tech (#7) at home for 1 game. Let the fun begin in just over 55 days

I think Tech will finish a lot higher than projected

I could see Charlotte anywhere from 1st to 8th and would probably slot us in the 4-6 range. This doesn’t seem unfair, though I’m hoping for better.

I think so too. Konkol has all but two starters back, plus he's got LeDoux --who was CUSA's 6th man of the Year last year-- back as well. Add in a couple of really good shooters that he signed in the off season and I'm optimistic.

LA Tech may not belong in the Top 2 this year, but I could see the Dogs finishing anywhere from 3rd to 6th. Predicting us to finish 7th seems to be a little off the rails.

I am a fan of Jarrod West, I like his hustle, intensity and being an unselfish team player, however, there is no way I can say he is one of the top ten players in the league.

I can guarantee that Rice will not finish lower than projected...once again we have the same scheduling problem...we don't get to play the worst team in the conference.

Somebody has to finish there I guess. Like several other teams, I feel we could finish anywhere from 2-8 this year. I do think based on your history in the league I’d lean towards putting La Tech a little higher as well.

That's a very valid question. Now that we're starting into cold and flu season and COVID cases are increasing accordingly it is counterintuitive.
