I'm curious if he actually finished his degree in December as planned... I know he had to delay 2 exams to get his crack at Brady...

He got a ton of hype with how he played, could you imagine what would have happened if he had won. That would have been amazing!!!!

He finished his fall classes, but I think he still has another couple of classes to take. I think he's hoping to take them next Spring.

Love the articles, Aggie. I hold no ill will towards Fitzpatrick. He is a character with talent to play in this league, but I prefer the scenario of him backing up potentially injury-prone Heinicke more than the scenario of Heinicke backing up the grizzled veteran journeyman.

If coach Rivera truly makes this a real competition and both quarterbacks play like they normally do, taylor heinicke will be the wft quarterback. Think about this, Rivera cannot lose by having this competition and I believe if he was not happy with TH,he would have bought in a bigger name or he would have moved up to get a qb. Fitzpatrick was bought into make a competition and if TH had failed to improve or impress, he could have given it to Fitzpatrick but he has not. Fitzpatrick, if he loses out gives Rivera an out if TH fails or gets hurt. If Fitzpatrick was truly bought into start, there would be no competition, no one. If TH does not earn it, he can say that was our plan all along. Understanding coachspeak, I feel Fitzpatrick is the insurance and heineke is the sportscar coach does not want to buy yet, but he has the checkbook out. TH is going nowhere but under center as WFT's quarterback unless misfortune or TH falls off the table, but those who know TH and have seen him play will not doubt him.
